Two Registered Nurse Lactation Consultants that met while working in one of San Antonio’s major hospital systems identified a need for the families they cared for. Wanting to ensure accessible inclusive care for the community at large, they began their journey. Breastfeeding as their main focus initially, they went home to home offering free breastfeeding support. As the duo entered the homes of their families they then realized an even greater need within the community. Thus, leading them to offer relatable parenting education, material assistance, car seat safety services, and resource guidance tailored to each family’s needs. Latched is focused on promoting an educated and healthy family experience from pregnancy and beyond.
